About Shanti
Shanti is the founder and principal of New Earth Women’s Wellbeing Sanctuary in Seaford — a home of healing, reflection, and renewal by the sea. For over twenty-five years, she has guided women through the gentle arts of Yoga, Meditation, Reiki Healing, Astrology, and Sound Therapy, helping each student remember the quiet wisdom already within.
Her teaching flows like a conversation between the body and the soul — where movement becomes prayer, and breath becomes light. With warmth, humour, and deep respect for the sacred feminine, Shanti creates a safe and nurturing space for women and girls to explore the path of balance, self-awareness, and inner peace.
As Rumi once wrote, “What you seek is seeking you.” Through her classes and gatherings, Shanti reminds every soul that this seeking begins — and ends — in the heart.

SHANTI
After many years of Buddhist meditation practice at the Buddhist Society of Victoria, Shanti undertook formal studies in Philosophy at La Trobe University, Melbourne (1996). Her studies spanned Classical Western and Eastern thought, with a particular focus on Buddhist and Yogic philosophy.
Following her university education, she completed Yoga Teacher Training at the Sivananda School of Yoga, Melbourne (2000), deepening her commitment to the integration of body, breath, and mind.
For over twenty-five years, Shanti has joyfully shared the gentle path of Yoga and Meditation. Through these years, she has watched her students blossom—rediscovering a renewed enthusiasm for self-care, purpose, and the quiet understanding of oneself.
Her teaching is infused with compassion, mindfulness, and a sincere wish to help each student awaken to their inner peace, wisdom, and sovereign self.
