About Shanti
Shanti is the founder and principal teacher of New Earth Women’s Wellbeing Sanctuary in Seaford — a cozy, beachside sanctuary devoted to healing, reflection, and inner renewal.
For twenty-six years, she has guided women through the rich traditions of Yoga, Meditation, Reiki Healing, Evolutionary Astrology, and Sound Therapy. Soon after studying philosophy and comparative religions at La Trobe University, she qualified as a Sivananda Yoga Teacher.
Her guidance is grounded and progressive, shaped by decades of practice, teaching, listening, and lived experience.
Shanti’s teaching unfolds as a dialogue between body and awareness. Movement is practiced with discernment and with kindness. Breath is cultivated as a stabilising force — something steady to return to when life feels unsettled. Quiet reflection is welcomed, without pressure or performance.
With warmth, quiet humour, and deep respect for the female journey, she creates a contained and nurturing environment where women and girls can exhale, reconnect, and explore balance and self-awareness at their own pace.
Her approach honours a simple truth: what we seek is often already present within us — waiting not to be acquired, but remembered.
Through her classes and seasonal gatherings, Shanti offers a sanctuary from the demands of daily life — a place to exhale, to replenish, and to gather oneself again.
From that restoration, women return not diminished by the world, but steadier within it — grounded, clear, and quietly self-trusting.
